More information about the position
The hospital is primarily lookin for a female person with laparoscopic skills. Past experience as HOD is preferred but not mandatory. However, involvement in committees and other quality works (like JCIA, etc.) is necessary. The team in the department consists of 24 full time physicians and 5 visiting physicians, and is one of the busiest and biggest departments in the region. The hospital has more than 300 delivers a month.

Role Specific Responsibilities:
1. Make sure that ObGyn services meet applicable local and national standards, laws, and regulations.
2. Make sure that ObGyn services are available to meet the needs related to the hospital’s mission and patient population, the community’s health care needs, and emergency needs, including after normal hours.
3. Responsible for and oversees Perinatal safety committee.
4. Responsible for monitoring and reviewing that all ObGyn services are defined and carried out.
Requirements
1. Education: Board certified or MD in Ob/Gyn as minimum.
2. Duration and type of Experience: Experience of three years after Board is preferred.
3. Skills: Laparascopic and/ Urogynecology skills (at least one).
