Reflecting God’s Justice This Advent

Read in your Bible: Amos 5:24; Isaiah 9:6-7

The birth of Jesus ushered in a kingdom of justice and peace. As Isaiah 9:6-7 foretells, Christ’s reign is marked by righteousness and fairness. Similarly, Amos 5:24 calls us to "let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream."

In our workplaces, these scriptures challenge us to embody God’s character by promoting justice, fairness, and honesty. Whether it's ensuring fair treatment for colleagues, respecting workplace policies, or supporting initiatives that align with Kingdom values, our actions can reflect God’s justice.

Advent reminds us that Jesus came to restore what was broken. By living out biblical principles in our professional conduct, we become agents of His restorative mission, extending His kingdom in our daily work.

Action

Evaluate your workplace practices this week. How can you better reflect God’s justice in your actions? Consider advocating for fairness, ensuring equity, or standing up for ethical practices.

Prayer

Righteous God, thank You for sending Jesus, whose life embodies justice and peace. Help me reflect Your Kingdom in my workplace through fairness, honesty, and compassion. May my actions bring Your light to those around me. Amen.
